E Coordinate Planning Levels and Responses

On this page

Connect planning levels through release conditions, deviations and signals. Clarify what each level owns, what it passes on and how the effects of a change are reviewed.

Preparation and Outcomes

Review B3 and C1 for time, materials and constraints. Release quantities and outage responses can first be studied through classroom calculations and discussion.

Produce a release checklist, an explanation of a change's planning impact and a task-response record. Running a linkage recipe additionally requires checking its inputs, receiving actions and result states against the current interface.

  1. From the Master Plan to Work Release and Scheduling
  2. Express Changes as Plan Deviations and Signals
  3. Define the Scope of a Disruption Response

Read the three lessons in order. Attempt each exercise before checking the suggested answer, and use the worksheets to record conditions, results and open questions.
