Research Edition
The Research Edition provides a public entry point for learning, evaluation, demonstrations, and scenario preparation. It helps users understand the architecture, data interfaces, orchestration, and result interpretation in non-production contexts.
Commercial Edition
The Commercial Edition supports production applications and project
integration, with datasets, execution resources, capabilities, and
support defined by the selected license. This page describes
v1.4.0; check the distribution and license documentation
for your actual configuration.
Adoption path
Teams can start with the Research Edition to understand interfaces, prepare data, and compare sample results, then select commercial licensing according to business scope, runtime resources, deployment, and support needs. Teams with a defined integration requirement can also start directly with the Commercial Edition.
Moving between editions
The editions share data semantics, standard actions, and result interpretation methods. When moving between them, reuse confirmed business mappings and scenario design, while checking the distribution, license, dataset scope, interface versions, and runtime parameters.
During ongoing use, data, rules, and scenario configuration can continue to change with the business. Keep baseline and adjusted results to assess the effect of upgrades or configuration changes.
What to check before choosing
- Whether the intended use is evaluation, production operation, or customer integration.
- Whether the distribution includes the required datasets, models, and capabilities.
- Licensed solver thread counts, time limits, and deployment conditions.
- Terms for source-code use, customization, redistribution, and support.
Check the relevant license files, authorization details, and support agreement for these conditions. Publicly readable code and permission to use it should be reviewed separately.
